Alumni Mentee Spotlight

Jhamese

Inaugural Mentee

Jhamese was a junior at Homewood-Flossmoor High School when she had her son Jonah. Determined to continue her education while being an excellent parent, Jhamese sought out additional resources and support.

When her son was four months old, Jhamese joined the Puddle Project program. Through years of mentorship and support from the Puddle Project, Jhamese was able to achieve her goals and is now a successful entrepreneur.

She developed her own vegan skincare line and launched a business providing esthetician services. We wish Jhamese, her partner, and their two sons well and only success.
